The blog is a huge wave that's for sure. Everyone is starting a blog, which is some sort of cheap personal
website with template web design free and easy (why not).
When I got some spare time I am browsing, more or less randomly, around 360.yahoo.com blog system, myspace.com or blogger.com
And what I found !? No big surprises. Most of the blog's content is just Copy&Paste culture.
Q: But what is Copy&Paste culture ?
The name is coming from the popular MS Windows OS way to copy something using the Copy & Paste commands.
Long story in short.
Copy&Paste is when you COPY a text, picture, files, sometimes the whole webpage or website, doesn't really matter what is, and next... you do the PASTE of the content on your webpage or blog.
The main idea is the content of what you Copy&Paste is of somebody else. Is not really yours. And when you post it on your blog/webpage is just plagiarism. Is nothing original. Is...nothing. And this make you to be a part of Copy&Paste culture ... a nothing original.
Q: Is a culture ?
I can say Yes ! Definitely is a trend, a real culture, a real way of "living" for lots of bloggers.
Q:Is something bad ?
I can say Yes ! Is nothing original. Is a waste of time for bloggers who post "nothing" and for those who read the posts. Is nothig, so, is good to be ignored.
How can you identify the most worst of Copy&Paste culture ?
Simple. Just go to www.google.com and search for what they post.
I can say I identified few kind of Copy & Paste.
A. Intentional Copy & Paste or the vicious Copy & Paste - is the worst kind. They doing in purpose to fool the readers, to give the impression of that what they posted is their personal ideas. In short. They trying to make you think they are smart when, in fact, they doing just copy&paste.
B. Unintentional Copy& Paste - they found a funny picture or article and instead of posting a link to that file they copy the whole content into their webpage/blog. Well being unintentional ...is not so bad. But still just value = zero.
So ... before you will think "hey this is smart" or "waw this is so nice" do a simple search on Google. Search for a part of that text, poem, file name of that picture. Maybe you will find is just a part of Copy & Paste Culture...a part of ...nothing and you can close that website and look for something original.
